On 17 April 2010, GreennoCom has cooperated with Biotechnology and Environment Club, Phuong Dong University to hold a workshop on “Green business and sustainable development”. The main purpose of this workshop was to introduce to Phuong Dong University students the concept of sustainable business, clean technology, climate change & finance and green marketing.
The workshop was designed to facilitate group discussion and information sharing. During the workshop, participants took part in several educational sustainability games and a business case study, in which they also developed analytical, presentation and debating skills. In business case study, the participants were grouped into 5 teams, consisting of a green business organisation at the center and some of its stakeholders including consumers, community, investors and government body. The exercise did not only give them a business perspective on sustainability but also showed them challenges businesses facing today and their stakeholders are expecting from them.
The workshop is a part of GreennoCom’s training project in clean tech and sustainable business for students and business in Hanoi.
